Halter and Performance Record: ROM Racing, World Champion Quarter Running Stallion,1940-1941, World Champion Quarter Horse.

Clabber was an all around horse, known for his speed, toughness and his savvy working cattle. He was known for his heavy bones and been able to give all these qualities to his get. Clabber many times was used as a stud, rodeo and raced all on the same day staying sound all his life. Even now his name in a pedigree means speed and a hardy stock.

He was raced against such greats as Shue Fly, Joe Reed II, Driftwood. 27 of his get acquired Racing Rom's. Too bad many of his earlier foals were not registered and there is no record of their ranch, rodeo records and progress.

His half brother was Texas Dandy (both were sired by My Texas Dandy) who would sire Dandy Doll, dam of Doc Bar.

It was as a sire that Clabber became famous. His ability to pass on speed and toughness. Among his famous get and grand-get are Clabber Bar , Clabber II , grand son Tonto Bars Gill; Great grand son Tonto Bars Hank.
