One of the all time leading sires in QH history.

Leo was a 'double bred' Joe Reed P-3. Best known for his speed on the race track and his daughters abilities to produce champions.

One son, Leo San, went on to sire:

    Peppy San {NCHA World Champion Cutting Horse, 1967},

    Mr San Peppy {NCHA World Champion Cutting Horse 1974}.

    Leo San Van - High Point Halter and Cutter {1961} High Point Cutting Gelding and AQHA Champion

    Leo Maude - AAA- Supereme Champion

Leo daughters produced champions. Amoung them were seven supreme champions:

One daughter, Flit, would go on to produce Kings Pistol {1957 NCHA World Champion Cutting Horse}. Flit would produce 17 foals in her lifetime, 7 would go on to earn 152 AQHA halter points, 5 would earn 77.5 performance points.
